In fact, this importance is a sociological phenomenon that has complex connections with culture and social system. The presence of the police in society, as law enforcement agents, has wide-ranging effects on fear of crime and personal and social security. By creating physical presence and monitoring the performance of citizens, police forces prevent people from committing crimes and increase the fear of unwanted events in the society. This is important, in areas with a high crime rate, it can increase the confidence of citizens and help them escape from unsafe conditions. On the other hand, some wrong behaviors and actions of the police can intensify the fear of crime and harm the public trust of the society. This can limit people in using their rights and freedoms due to unwanted police intervention. Finally, the effects of the police on fear of crime is a dynamic, complex, and multifaceted factor that requires extensive investigation in different categories of society. A deep understanding of these effects can help formulate policies and strategies to improve security and prevent and reduce crime in communities. This study showed that by conducting research in a descriptive-analytical way, it leads to a deep and broad understanding of such issues, and through this method, it is possible to improve and deepen the policies and strategies of crime prevention. تأثیر نیروی پلیس برافزایش یا کاهش ترس از جرم در جامعه، موضوع مهمی است که مطالعات زیادی را به دنبال داشته است. درواقع این مهم یک پدیده جامعه‌شناختی است که ارتباطات پیچیده‌ای بافرهنگ و نظام اجتماعی دارد. حضور پلیس در جامعه، به‌عنوان نماینده اجرای قوانین، تأثیرات گسترده‌ای بر ترس از جرم و امنیت فردی و اجتماعی دارد. نیروهای پلیس با ایجاد حضور فیزیکی و نظارت بر عملکرد شهروندان، افراد را از ارتکاب جرم بازداشته و ترس از پیش‌آمده‌ای ناخواسته را در جامعه افزایش می‌دهند. این مهم، در مناطقی که از نرخ جرم بالایی برخوردار است، می‌تواند اطمینان شهروندان را افزایش داده و آنان را از شرایط ناامن فراری دهد. از سوی دیگر، برخی رفتارها و اقدامات نادرست پلیس می‌تواند ترس از جرم را تشدید کند و به اعتماد عمومی جامعه لطمه وارد نماید. این امر می‌تواند افراد را در استفاده از حقوق و آزادی‌های خود به دلیل مداخله ناخواسته پلیس با محدودیت مواجهه کند. درنهایت، تأثیرات پلیس بر ترس از جرم یک عامل پویا، پیچیده و چندوجهی است که نیاز به بررسی گسترده در دسته‌های مختلف جامعه دارد. درک عمیق از این تأثیرات می‌تواند به تدوین سیاست‌ها و راهکارهای بهبود امنیت و پیشگیری و کاهش جرم در جوامع کمک کند. این مطالعه نشان داد که با انجام تحقیقات به شیوه ی توصیفی- تحلیلی، موجب درک ژرف و گسترده‌ این گونه مسائل می گردد و از طریق این شیوه، می‌توان به بهبود و تعمیق در سیاست‌ها و راهکارهای پیشگیری از جرم دست‌یافت. https://www.ghazavat.org/article_711651_e76c590c2a6d2d790728c6dcf128555e.pdf
