Abstract
The issues that have been presented in this discussion under the title of “the confession to lineage in Iranian civil law and Islamic jurisprudence” are mainly the concept of lineage and confessing to that, effects and features of confessing to that in Imamiyeh jurisprudence, Sunni Religions, Iranian Civil as well as genetic examinations as the proof (Amara) of proving the lineage by taking a look at Jurisprudence. Of course, the confession to filialness has been generally and mostly stressed in this research, since the amount of material related to confession is vast and “more important”.
