Article Submission Guidelines

Judgment Quarterly (Faslnameh Qazavat ) is the scientific journal of the Human Resources and Cultural Affairs Division of the Judiciary, published quarterly (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). Articles accepted for publication in this journal must not have been previously published or submitted simultaneously to other journals. The journal does not accept scientific notes or short manuscripts.

Writing Guidelines:

  • All sections of the article should be prepared on white paper sized 21 × 29.7 cm (A4), with single line spacing, 4.5 cm margins on the left and right, and 5.1 cm margins on the top and bottom, using Microsoft Word.
  • Articles with a word count between 5,500 and 9,500 will be considered for initial review.
  • It is recommended to avoid using foreign words as much as possible. The use of terms approved by the Academy of Persian Language and Literature is encouraged.
  • Scientific names and foreign terms should be provided in the footnotes.
  • In the body of the article, numbers from zero to nine should be written out in words, and numbers 10 and above should be written in numerals (except for numbers in tables, figures, references at the end of a sentence, and formula numbering).
  • The percentage symbol (%) should be written as the word "%" in the text (except in tables and figures).
  • The Persian and English abstracts should be provided on separate pages at the beginning and end of the article, respectively.
  • Footnotes should be used only when the author wants to explain a point in more detail.
  • In-text citations usually include the author's name, publication date, and page number to direct the reader to the list in the "References" section at the end of the article. Example: (Katouzian, 1999: 12). APA citation format requires in-text citations rather than footnotes or endnotes.
  • Tables should be formatted right-to-left.
  • The borders around charts should be removed.
  • There should be no space between a word and a period (.), comma (,), question mark (؟), or parentheses (), and one space should be inserted after these symbols.
  • The beginning of each paragraph should be indented by 0.5 cm.

  • When referring to a table or figure in any section of the article, it should be placed immediately after the corresponding paragraph.
  • In figures and tables, all numbers and content should be in Persian (Font: B Zar Bold10).
  • Computer-generated, drawn figures, and photographs must be clear.
  1. References

In this section, only the sources cited in the article should be listed according to the guidelines below. All sources cited in the text must be included in this section. Katouzian, Nasser. (1384). "Support for the Injured and the Responsibility of the Producer in French Law," Journal of Law and Political Science, No. 68.

If there are multiple works by the same author in one year, distinguish them by adding (a) and (b) next to the publication year. Example: (Enayat, 1349 (a), p. 14), (Enayat, 1349 (b), p. 150).

English Article:

English Title and Abstract (Last Page)

The English abstract should be a maximum of 10 lines and must be a complete and accurate translation of the Persian abstract. If there are any changes or revisions made to the Persian abstract, those changes must also be reflected in the English abstract. Any dates mentioned in the English abstract should be converted to the Gregorian calendar.
