Abstract: Given the nearly one-century history of fair price in the country's laws, and despite its importance from a social and justice perspective, it has not been precisely defined. This article, while examining the types of prices, has examined their historical analysis in the laws. In examining the relevant laws, while revealing the disadvantages and advantages of each law in relation to the types of prices, the difference between fair price and current price has been revealed. Finally, while examining the valid laws on state and municipal acquisition, the definition of fair price from the legislator's perspective has been stated.
